Lansdowne
Borough held a candle light vigil to celebrate Peace
and Diversity in our community.
This
public affirmation of what we consider to be an absolute
strength was attend by over 200 residents and friends,
the entire Borough Council and the Mayor.

speakers were Father David Benz from St. Philomenia's,
Doctor Nancy Holt from Lansdowne Presbyterian and Pastor
Timothy Thompson from The Trinity Methodist. Special Guest
representing the Anti Defamation League, Pauline Garcia. |

| It
was a wonderful show of determination and demonstrated
the power of a positive message, delivered by who we know
to be experts on the subjects of peace, diversity, love,
tolerance, etc. We can feel empowered and proud of our
community and who we all are... |
