Come out and join the Lansdowne Folk Club on Thursday, September 27, 2007 as they kick off the fall series with singer/songwriters Kelly Flint and Bob Sima.
The Lansdowne Folk Club, founded in 1993, is a 501(c) (3) all volunteer non-profit corporation dedicated to presenting folk, acoustic and blues music. The performances are located at the Twentieth Century Club, 84 S. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne, PA.
Through five albums and countless gigs, Kelly Flint has been the singer, actress and interpreter of the songs for the band Dave's True Story. Anyone familiar with Dave's True Story will immediately recognize Ms. Flint. Postmodern folk with a tinge of Americana. If you want to reduce it to an easily digestible phrase, that's what you might call the music of Kelly Flint. The Lansdowne Folk Club is happy to have her back, performing songs from her recent solo album "Drive All Night".

Bob Sima burst into the singer/songwriter scene after taking a hiatus from his band Stereopool, a successful acoustic power trio from the Annapolis, MD area. While performing as the lead singer of Stereopool, Bob began to feel the desire to explore more diverse songwriting and create a solo record. His songs range from quiet lullabies to poppy acoustic toe-tappers. He even has a full out folk/gospel epic.
