Lansdowne Borough Council Special Meeting
Monday — April 16, 2007
A Special meeting of the Lansdowne Borough Council was held on Monday, April16, 2007, 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hall. Present were President Wayne, Ms. Coleman, Ms. Hill, Mr. Lee, Ms. Lustgarten, Mr. Urban and Mr. Wagner. Also in attendance were Mayor Young, Borough Solicitor Scott and Borough Secretary Henry. Borough Treasurer Smith, Borough Engineer Bevilacqua, Borough Manager Forrest, Police Chief Kortan and Fire Chief Young were absent.
The agenda was approved with no changes.
VISITORS
No visitors were present.
Comments from Council members and Mayor:
- Mayor Young asked that security be looked at in the Borough building in light of the recent Virginia Tech shootings.
- Miss Hill mentioned a vandalism incident at the Lansdowne library involving a confrontation between a library employee and the vandal. Chief Kortan is investigating the incident.
Ms. Lustgarten moved to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss a personnel issue. Mr. Wagner seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 7:39 p.m.
Public Session:
No motions were made upon reconvening to Public session.
Ms. Coleman moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ms. Lustgarten. The motion carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
