YOUTH PROGRAMS 

TENNIS TENNIS LESSONS

Introductory tennis classes for kids and teens.
Beginner/intermediate skill levels.
Ages: 8-11 (kids) 12-16 (teens)
Fee: $45; Non-resident $50
Days: Mondays and Wednesdays
Kids: 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Teens: 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Term: 4 weeks, April 28-May 21
Location: Hoffman Park Tennis Courts
Instructor: Bill McCourt
Classes limited to 16 persons per class.

PIANO PIANO LESSONS

Half-hour private lessons available evenings between 4:30-6:00 p.m. Call to check availablity and reserve.
Ages: six and up
Fee: $125; Non-resident $130
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays
Starts: April 21 (eight weeks)
Location: Twentieth Century Club (84 S. Lansdowne Ave.)
Instructor: Janet Echternach

ART ART: INTRO TO DRAWING

This class is an exciting introduction into the amazing world of drawing. Learn to sketch using various pencils. Bring a sketchbook.
Ages: 8 to 12 years old
Fee: $30; Non-residents $35
Starts: April 23 (first of six weeks)
Time & Date: 4:30-5:30 or 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Location: Twentieth Century Club (84 S. Lansdowne Ave.)

TENNIS TENNIS CAMP

This tennis camp program emphasizes sound fundamentals, from proper footwork and grip to stroke production and movement.
Ages (two groups): 8-11 and 12-16
Term: starts Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26
Times: 8:30-10:15 (8-11), 10:30-12:15 (12-16)
Location: Hoffman Park Tennis Courts
Instructor: Bill McCourt
Fee: $75
Classes limited to 16 persons per class.

MOVIES MOVIE NIGHT IN THE PARK PRESENTS

Ratatouille

FRIDAY MORNING LIVE

All performances will be held at the Lansdowne Library, 55 S. Lansdowne Avenue. Please call 610-623-0239 ext. 5 to reserve your tickets. Seating is limited. Show time is 10:30 am for all perfomances.

TENNIS ADULT TENNIS LESSONS

Looking for an enjoyable, outdoor, active sport? Why not learn the game of tennis? Instructions for beginners and intermediate skill levels
Fee: $55; Non-resident $60
Days: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Term: 3 weeks, June 9 - June 25
Location: Hoffman Park Tennis Courts

ADULT TENNIS TOURNAMENT

The Recreation Department will host a mens and ladies singles tournament at the Hoffman Park courts.
Dates: June 1 - June 8

Entry Fee: $5 per person

YOGA YOGA (Beginner/Intermediate)

Learn to reduce stress and pain, and increase bone and muscle strength. Yoga poses increase flexibility and range of motion, and improve balance, stamina, coordination and posture. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring an accepting attitude towards your body.
Fee: $45; Non-resident $50
Days: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Term: Seven weeks beginning April 30
Location: Twentieth Century Club
Instructor: Patricia Lasseter - Certified Yoga Instructor

TAI CHI

Tai Chi consists of slow, relaxed movements that connects one with the rhythm of nature to promote the healing process. These exercises can reduce your daily stress and fatigue, improve posture, tone your muscles and provide flexibility and balance.
Fee: $45; Non-resident $50
Days: Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Term: Seven weeks, beginning April 29

PILATES

Pilates is an exercise program which focuses on ones powerhouse - which includes the stomach, back, hips and buttocks. These unique exercises engage the mind as well as the body for a complete workout, for the novice as well as the experienced athlete.
Fee: $45; Non-resident $50
Days: Tuesdays 7:00 p.m-8:00 p.m.
Term: Seven weeks beginning April 29
