Shown is the family of Mike "the Barber" Moffa. Mike received a "Beautification Award" for his barber shop on Powelton Ave. Every holiday Mike decorates his front window. For Flag Day and especially Fourth of July he ups the ante. Drive by next month for a flag display that will knock your socks off. Joining Mike at the June borough meeting to share this recognition is his wife, children and grandchildren.

Chuck Cavanagh from the Park and Rec. board accepts a check from Lansdowne Allied Youth Council representatives Jim and Joan Gardner to fund "Friday Morning Live". LAYC is the sole sponsor of the Friday Morning Live program.
