Parking Notice From the Lansdowne Borough Police Department

Lansdowne Police Logo

During the COVID crisis, the police department eased enforcement of our overnight parking ordinance. Now that we have moved into the green phase, we will resume enforcing our overnight parking effective Monday July 20, 2020.

Residents and visitors are reminded that parking on ALL streets in the borough is prohibited between 2AM and 6AM unless you have an overnight permit.  Visitors can call for short term permission to park overnight, but no more than 5 nights in a 30 day period will be granted without special permission from the office of the Chief of Police. The Overnight parking permission number is 610-623-7677.

We would also like to remind everyone that all Overnight Parking Permits expire at the end of each year.

To accommodate residents who need to obtain a parking permit, the Police Department will be opening on a limited basis starting Monday July 13, 2020.

The first floor of Borough hall will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the sole purpose of purchasing overnight parking permits. Members of the public will undergo a screening process and temperature checks before entering. They are also required to wear masks and maintain social distance while inside.

Since the permits are pro-rated, the cost in July will be $24. Starting Aug 1, they will be $20. Tickets start at $15. For payment, we only accept cash, check or money order. More information on parking is available on the Police Department web page at www.lansdowneborough.com. Residents are encouraged to have the form completed prior to arrival. Exact change would help limit exposure to staff and residents.
