Gateway Slope Notes #49 - “Construction of Entryway Steps”: These pictures show the backhoe lifting the modular pieces of the retaining walls and putting them in place. At approximately a 45-degree angle to the corner of Baltimore and Scottdale, there will be steps (there will be an ADA ramp as well). Gateway Slope Notes # 46: We’re back!! No progress for quite some time is now turning around to action! Let’s take a look! 
1. See the photo with the metal rods protruding from the ground. Those are called rebar and concrete is going to be poured there. Can you guess what it is going to be? It will be the “Welcome to Lansdowne” sign!
2. So much construction staging going on in the adjacent parking lot. This is the stone for the retaining wall foundations.
3. The trenches for the retaining wall foundations are being dug. You can see the stone for the leveling pads.
