Borough Council Adopts Black History Month Resolution for 2022

Lansdowne Borough Council recently adopted a resolution honoring February as Black History Month and recognizing the theme of "Black Wellness and Health" for 2022. Residents are encouraged to observe this month with programs, celebrations, ceremonies, and activities recognizing the amazing and everlasting efforts and accomplishments of African-Americans in Lansdowne Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvanis and the United States. 

Lansdowne Borough Council asks residents to share their stories, essays and pictures on the theme of "Black Wellness and Health" for possible publication in the borough newsletter, social media and on our website.

Residents may submit their essays, stories, poems and/or pictures using the ONLINE FORM HERE
