Mayor Magda Byrne was pleased to award this year's Sycamore Award to Mr. Bill Horton at the June 21, 2023 Lansdowne Borough Council meeting. Bill has contributed to this community in a multitude of ways. He is an active member of the Lansdowne American Legion and a former member of the Lansdowne Parks and Rec board. He is known in town to offer his construction skills to many residents, sometimes for free or very low cost, in an effort to help residents in need safely stay in their homes. I am happy to acknowledge the benefits of Bill Horton's generosity to our Lansdowne Community.
