The statewide Whole Homes Repair Program is getting off the ground in many counties, including Delaware County (anticipated launch later in September). Senator Kearney, in partnership with Clarifi, is also offering a free home assessment to qualified low and moderate income homeowners in parts of his district.
It has been reported that someone is going door to door in Lansdowne, posing as a worker for the “Delco Home Repair Program” and asking for personal information including social security numbers.
The program Senator Kearney is offering, as well as the Delaware County program, requires/will require the interested applicants to do the outreach to the provider organization. NO ONE is going door-to-door soliciting individuals for home repairs or doing outreach asking for personal information.
